My name’s Dan, and I’ve spent the last 15 years working hands on with gardens, horses and paddocks. I grew up in Lydd, Kent, and these days I live in Smeeth, just outside Ashford, at home with our horses, sheep, chickens, dogs and cats. Working outdoors and looking after land has always been a big part of my life it’s something I genuinely enjoy, not just a job I fell into.

I started this business for a simple reason: people kept commenting on how good our own paddocks and fields looked. Friends, neighbours and equestrians would say how tidy, well kept and properly managed everything was, and they’d often ask who I used to do the work. The truth was, I’d been doing it myself for years. After hearing the same positive comments again and again, I realised I should be offering the same level of care to other people’s places too.

Another big part of why I started the business was frustration. I got fed up with trying to find someone reliable someone who would turn up when they said they would, charge a fair price, and actually do a good job. I was bored of being let down, so I decided to stop relying on other people and put my own standards into practice. If I couldn’t find anyone who worked the way I wanted, I’d do it myself and do it properly.

I treat every job as if I’m working on my own yard, my own paddocks, my own fields or garden. I don’t rush, I don’t cut corners. I care about the results, and I want people to feel proud of their land when I’m finished. Whether it’s domestic fencing, agricultural fencing, paddock care, equine maintenance, grass topping and cutting, muck spreading, hedge flailing, weed spraying, rolling, or full paddock management, I approach it with the same level of care and attention I give to my own place at home.

This business isn’t just work for me it’s something I enjoy, something I’m good at, and something I take pride in. If you want someone who’s reliable, fair, experienced and genuinely cares about the end result, that’s exactly what I offer. I’ll look after your land the way I look after mine.
